Some extraordinary stories in Soul Music can begin in the most ordinary of places. I (Charisa, a.k.a. the ViolinDiva) began my musical journey in a little public school program at the tender age of four, and so began a lifelong love-affair with music. Born and raised in Maryland, all of my earliest musical influences - from traditional gospel to Washington DC’s gogo, and le hot jazz to classical symphonic training, all blend to create an innovative and jazz-infused take on contemporary soul. I’ve been blessed enough to collaborate with some of the most illustrious artists across the musical borders, on some of the most prestigious stages (including with Wynton Marsalis, Ashanti, Claudia Acuna, Common, Doc Severinson and Mos Def – to name a few). It has truly been great. But that's not all. I FINALLY have my TWO (that’s right, I said TWO) first albums simultaneously in production right now. (Woo-hoo!) ‘Stories’ in the soul genre and ‘This Journey Home’ in the gospel genre are both set to release in fall 2009. There are also many different shows and showcases of my own that I’m working on around town, so keep checking in to see what’s coming up next. I’m more excited than words can say about the big things happening in my life, and I invite you to journey with me in the next chapter in soul . . . Welcome to the Evolution. [Charisa D. (aka the ViolinDiva) is available for events, session work, group and feature performances, musician contracting, commerical work, arranging, songwriting, loops, beats, and touring in all genres - specializing in classical, hiphop, soul, R and B, gospel, and jazz.]

Philly born and raised with a rich musical tradition in his bloodline, the young charismatic, street and classical trained Leon Jordan Jr. is one of the brightest young instrumentalists on the scene today. Leon began to hone his craft as a musician playing in Philly venues such as Zanzibar and the original Warmdaddy’s at the tender age of  13. Throughout his adolescents Leon began to write music and developed a maturity of a musician twice his age.  His prodigious talent made him a steadily working musician by high school.  Leon's advanced skill and experience landed him a full scholarship to University of the Arts in which he graduated in 2009.

The young brass man has shared the stage with the Legendary Roots Crew , Jill Scott, Chuck Brown, Boyz to Men, Micheal Mcdonald, Rick Braun to name a few. Has already recorded with Kindred, Bilal, Music Soulchild , Maysa Leak  ( Member of her band) Jeff Bradshaw ( Member of his band) and many more as a side man.  As a leader has two self produced original Album 's in which features Smooth Jazz star Gerald Veasley on his latest entitled "Breakout" . The laidback yet confident Leon really lets his horn do the talking with his tasteful lyricism and soulful subtlety.  Drawing listeners in effortlessly and honestly.  This young man brings a team player mentality to the band stand in which makes him delightful to work with as well. He has a undeniable chemistry with Vocalists in which is reflective in his latest projects and performances. Now just 25 years has made quite a name for himself as a Leader, sideman and educator. The recent Philadelphia Clef Club 2012 poll winner has been steadily climbing the ladder of success with style and grace attracting fans of all over the world. The future is now and it's bright!

The English vernacular meaning of the word “Mosaic” simply indicates a picture or decoration made of small, usually colored pieces of inlaid stones that portrays an eclectic piece of art. In a quest to form a band that encompasses different musical genre’s such as hip-hop, be-bop , blues , go-go , rock and roll , R&B, Neo soul, pop  and other musical idioms, a young man by the name of Jermaine Bryson ( aka Husky Bruiser) decided to
