This dynamic group is comprised of 8 very talented musicians: two lead vocalists, a full rhythm section and a sax player. Jazz, pop, rock, R&B, funk, reggae, Top 40, swing, soul, Latin and pop -- The GLB Band does it all.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Gerald Veasley is an excellent bassist who has played his share of commercial music but definitely has the chops needed for more improvisatory settings. Veasley was exposed to gospel and R&B as a child and went on to play in various R&B bands in West Philly as a teenager in the late '60s and 1970s. Along the way, he discovered jazz and came to appreciate Weather Report and Return to Forever as much as he appreciated Earth, Wind & Fire and Smokey Robinson. Veasley has cited Jaco Pastorius, Anthony Jackson, and Stanley Clarke as his main influences on electric bass, and has named Oscar Pettiford and Paul Chambers as his favorites on the acoustic bass. Having held the music of Weather Report and Pastorius in such high regard, Veasley was delighted when, in 1988, Weather Report co-founder Joe Zawinul hired him as a sideman. Veasley, who stayed with Zawinul until 1995, signed with Heads Up International in the early '90s and recorded his first album for the label, Look Ahead, in 1992 before providing Signs in 1994 and Soul Control in 1997. Veasley continued with the label, issuing the mellow, smooth album Love Letters in 1999, then returned in 2001 with On the Fast Track, an energetic, funk-inflected return to the grooves of his early career.

Jermaine is a multi-faceted artist. He can perform many different genres of music such as; jazz, folk songs, opera, classical, R&B, neo-soul, gospel, and hip-hop. Jermaine has expanded his talent in the abilities of singing in more than one language including Latin, German and Spanish. Jermaine has found his home in the R&B genre where he has a love for oldies and enjoys putting his unique touch to throwbacks like Barry White’s “Practice What You Preach” and Anita Baker’s “Sweet Love”.

Performing on American Idol 2012 Season 11 is Jermaine’s latest achievement as he proved his gift and love for singing by being voted to the Top 12 in America. Jermaine has performed on many stages throughout his young career and has no problem with commanding the stage and captivating his audience every time. His vocal training is extensive ranging from gospel to opera and all those in between. When Jermaine steps on the stage you can be guaranteed to get a top-notch, energetic performance bursting with excellence.

Jermaine’s passion for his music is expressed in every performance. He is a true professional, and his deep, sultry baritone/bass voice is charismatic, entertaining and a joy to listen to. Jermaine is a positive voice for the young, as well as an honorable, respectable, and enjoyable voice for the older and more legendary audiences.

Warmdaddy’s favorite son returns to croon and swoon you with R&B hits from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. Bryan Parr has a voice reminiscent of Alexander Oneal, Marvin Gaye and Curtis Manfield. He will leave you wanting more.
